solitary witches need support, too.

  • Do you have a Tarot deck (or several) that you're afraid to use?

  • Have you played around with cards with your friends, but don't feel confident reading your own spreads?

  • Are you still relying on the top results on Google search (hi, Biddy Tarot!) to tell you what your cards mean?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, congratulations! You're what I like to call an "advanced beginner". This is the category that the vast majority of my students and clients fall under: people who know that the Tarot helps them, but don't quite know how to use it to help themselves. Luckily for you, I love working with "advanced beginners"! Because when you're at that critical transition point between "I'm learning Tarot" to "I read Tarot," well - at the risk of sounding cliche - that's where the magic happens.

For the duration of your apprenticeship, you’ll have regular (weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly) one-on-one sessions with me, during which we’ll talk through your specific needs and collaborate on creating your practice plan. You’ll also receive personalized journal prompts, exercises, and suggestions for going deeper into your cards.

  • This is a one-on-one apprenticeship program for Tarot readers. Over the course of 6 or 12 weeks, you will receive one-on-one as you develop your practice. By the end of this month-and-a-half long intensive, you will have developed the skills and learned the information you need to build and interpret intuitive Tarot spreads for yourself and for others, using a social-emotional and trauma-informed interpretive lens.

    This program is for…

    • "beginners" who have been playing around with decks for years, but still don't feel confident interpreting their own cards

    • aspiring professional readers looking to bridge the gap between reading for themselves and reading for others

    • experienced readers who want to deepen their understanding of the social-emotional tarot framework

    • clinicians, therapists, social workers, and other people in healing professions interested in using the Tarot to support their clients

    This program is not for…

    • people who have never had their cards read, by themselves or someone else

    • students who are not ready or able to commit at least 1 hour per month towards their practice

    • readers who exclusively use non-Tarot practices, like Oracle cards or Lenormand cartomancy

    • anyone who is specifically interested in using Tarot for predictive divination or psychic work

Due to the intensive nature of this program, only a limited number of apprentices may be accepted at one time. If enrollment is closed, please sign up for email updates to be notified when new slots are available.

  • This learning group is designed and facilitated by me - Haylin Belay. I'm a seasoned Tarot reader, sex educator, bodyworker, health promotion professional, and pleasure witch with a focus in pleasure-based, trauma-informed strategies for embodied healing.

With over a decade of hands-on experience developing award-winning health education programming and providing professional development for clinicians, educators, and activists, I’ve dedicated my life to teaching people of all ages practical skills for a healthier, more pleasurable life. I’ve also spent over seven years reading cards for hundreds of clients across the world.

This professional experience, plus my own personal journey of self-discovery through Tarot, led me to develop a framework for Tarot reading I call “social-emotional Tarot”. It’s a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to the cards that prioritizes embodied wisdom and dialectical thinking - and I would love to share it with you!
